ARMY BREEDS 'SUPERDOGS' -- Bob Bishoff, civilian employee at the Edgewood, N.J., Arsenal, leads a troop of candidates for the Army's "super-dog" program across the grass at the base. German Shepherds are groomed in the special breeding and testing program that the Army says will result in the "world's smartest dogs" in about 10 years. (AP Wirephoto) June 18, 1971

The “civilian employee” designation was totally redundant, wasn’t it? As if any enlisted man would be allowed to rock that hairdo for more than an hour on any military base.
I couldn’t decide what is more interesting. The style (look) of the guy or the dog pack. 🙂
